Switzerland - Norway Tax Treaty Reduces Ownership Level for Exemption

A new tax treaty agreement is signed between Switzerland and Norway on Aug 31, 2009.

The new tax treaty between the two countries is reducing the need of ownership level to 10% (previously 20%) for an exemption of withholding tax on dividends.

The new tax treaty sets dividend withholding tax rate 15% on other incidences.
