Namibia Tax: New Tax Rates for Individuals in Namibia

Individual income tax rates have changed in Namibia, and new income tax tables came into existence, effective 01 March this year.

Tax rates for individuals were previously at 35%. After the change, the new top rate for income tax has increased to 37%, and new tax tables has been introduced.

According to the new tax tables, the first NAD 40,000 of the taxable income is exempt from tax in Namibia.

Employees who are not having a full-time work will also observe an increase in their tax rate, from 17.5% to 27%.
