IRS Tax: Reminder - Modernized e-File (MeF) Production Cutover Schedule

The Modernized e-File System will be shutting down for production effective December 28, 2009 at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Time for annual system maintenance and uploading of the Tax year 2009 programs. 

Please note: The Assurance Testing System (ATS) will remain open throughout this period, except from 1:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m., Eastern Time on Saturday, Jan. 2nd. The latest version of the Tax Year 2009 schemas and business rules will be available in ATS beginning January 3, 2010.
