Tax Controversy Updates: Deadline for comments on uncertain tax position reporting is extended

The IRS has announced that the comment period for Announcement 2010-9 concerning the proposed reporting requirement for uncertain tax positions is extended to June 1, 2010.

The IRS has also added to the list of issues on which it would like to receive comments.
