The Minister of Finance has issued a circular that extends the deadline for filing the 2010 tax return in respect of the special annual real property tax levied on the taxable value of real property (the so-called "offshore tax"). The original deadline of 20 May 2010 has been extended to 30 November 2010. The rate of the tax was recently increased from 3% to 15%.
