St. Kitts & Nevis Tax: Consumption-based VAT to be introduced
The government of St. Kitts & Nevis has issued a White Paper announcing that a broad, consumption-based VAT (Value Added Tax) will be introduced.
The VAT as proposed will be levied on goods and services at a standard rate, a zero rate for certain goods and services and an exemption for certain supplies. The VAT will replace various other indirect taxes in St. Kitts & Nevis.
