Mauritius Tax: Withholding tax on royalties increase, Tax year change

As part of the 2010 Budget, the withholding tax on royalties was increased from 10% to 15% in Mauritius, effective 1 January 2010.

For residents of Mauritius, the withholding tax rate remains at 10%. In addition, the tax year changed from a 30 June fiscal year to a calendar year basis.
