California Tax: e-file reminders

California Franchise Tax Board announcement about tax deadlines:

- April 22, 2010 is the last day to retransmit rejected-timely personal income tax returns. 
 
- Personal income tax e-file is open through the October 15th extended deadline.  Please keep in mind, although taxpayers can file until October 15th, any taxes that were owed and not paid by by April 15thmay be subject to penalties and interest.
 
- Business e-file is open all year.  You can e-file your clients' current year return, as well as prior years 2008 and 2007.  For more information, go to ftb.ca.gov and search for Business e-file.
