Florida Tax: Department of Revenue expands corporate income tax filing options

Business taxpayers and CPAs can now file and pay Florida corporate income tax installments and extension requests through the Internal Revenue Service's Modernized e-File (MeF) Program. This is in addition to the existing feature that allows you to file and pay Florida corporate income tax returns at the same time you file federal returns.

For tax year 2009, you can file and pay:

- Form F-1120, Florida Corporate Income/Franchise and Emergency Excise Tax Return
- Form F-7004, Florida Tentative Income/Franchise and Emergency Excise Tax Return and Application for Extension of Time to File Return

For tax year 2010, you can file Form F-1120ES, Declaration/Installment of Florida Estimated Income/Franchise and Emergency Excise Tax for Taxable Year Beginning on or after January 1, 2010.
