Form 720 e-file for the 1st Quarter of Tax Year 2010

Attention: Software Developers, Return Transmitters and Authorized IRS e-file Providers/EROs

When the Senate reconvenes in early 2010, the subject of energy tax provisions that expired on December 31, 2009, is expected to be addressed. 

Form 720 will not be available for testing or for electronic filing for the 1st Quarter of Tax Year 2010 until a final determination has been made regarding the expired provisions.
