Canada: Debts owed to a third party

The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has announced that it will challenge a lower court's ruling in a case involving General Electric Capital Canada that a Canadian company is entitled to claim as a deductible expense the full guarantee fee paid to its U.S. parent to guarantee debts owed to a third party.
