Oil & Gas Production Tax Annual Tax Return Form Project Public Workshop

The Department of Revenue will hold a makeup public workshop on December 2, 2009, for those unable to attend the workshop scheduled on November 25, 2009 to discuss its draft Oil and Gas Production Tax Annual Return form for the 2009 filing that will be due on March 31, 2010. This workshop is in addition to the workshop scheduled for November 25, 2009 and will cover the same materials. The workshop is not to discuss proposed regulations that have been noticed and are currently in the regulatory adoption process.

are located on the Tax Division website under the Oil & Gas Production Tax News and Information link at www.tax.alaska.gov. Interested parties are encouraged to review the draft form prior to the workshop.

Comments and suggestions are requested from interested parties and potential users of the Oil & Gas Production Tax Annual Return form by January 22, 2010. Early submission of comments is encouraged. Additional workshops may be held in the near future if necessary.

The makeup workshop will be held beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2, 2009, at the BP Energy Center, 900 East Benson Blvd, Anchorage, Alaska. The workshop is expected to last approximately two and one-half hours. Participation by teleconference will be available by please calling:
