The Department of Revenue is holding a public workshop to discuss its draft Oil and Gas Production Tax Annual Return form for the 2009 filing that will be due on March 31, 2010. The workshop is not to discuss proposed regulations that have been noticed and are currently in the regulatory adoption process.

are located on the Tax Division website under the Oil & Gas Production Tax News and Information link at www.tax.alaska.gov. Interested parties are encouraged to review the draft form prior to the workshop.

Comments and suggestions are requested from interested parties and potential users of the Oil & Gas Production Tax Annual Return form no later than January 22, 2010. Early submission of comments is encouraged. Additional workshops may be held in the near future if necessary.

The workshop will be held beginning at 9:30 a.m until 1:00 p.m. on November 25, 2009, in The East Hearing Room, of the Regulatory Commission of Alaska, 701 West 8th Avenue, Suite 300, Anchorage, Alaska.
