California tax: State Board of Equalization Meeting on October 6 in Sacramento
WHAT: The California State Board of Equalization is adding an agenda item to the Board Meeting, "Election of the Vice-Chair." This item will be added to the agenda as the first item of business, following the scheduled committee meetings.

WHY: The Agenda (attached here) now allows for the Board Members to vote to elect a vice-chair.

The five-member California State Board of Equalization is a publicly elected tax board. The BOE collects more than $53 billion annually in taxes and fees supporting state and local government services.
