Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws (EUDL) Mini-Grants for Law Enforcement Agencies
Program Description
The EUDL Program allocates block grants for every state and the District of Columbia to enforce state laws prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors and to prevent the purchase and or consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors (individuals under the age of 21 years old).
The goals of the EUDL Program are to establish youth task forces, support public advertising campaigns, and to support innovative and collaborative programs to prevent and combat underage drinking.
Three types of programs may be implemented from EUDL funds. These programs are youth task forces to educate and eliminate underage drinking, underage drinking awareness advertising campaigns, and collaboration with other agencies to sponsor innovative programs to eliminate underage drinking.
Source of Funding
The U.S. Department of Justice, Office of Justice Programs, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention through The Office of Intergovernmental Services of the Department of Finance and Administration provide funds to law enforcement agencies around the state.
Eligible Program Participants
Local Law Enforcement Agencies around the State of Arkansas.
Method of Notification
Law Enforcement Agencies will be notified by electronic mail, the Department of Finance and Administration official website, and through Law Enforcement Agency Associations' websites.

EUDL Alcohol Awareness Educational Grant
Program Title
Alcohol Awareness Educational Program for School Resource Officers
Program Description
The Office of Intergovernmental Services is seeking school resource officers to apply for the Alcohol Awareness Grant Program which consists of educational materials only. The grant will be used to carry out educational programs to prevent the sale, distribution, and consumption of alcoholic beverages by minors. These innovative programs use the pre-packaged Educational DVD Program, "Sudden Impact: After the Crash" and the "Distract-A-Match" Game. The educational program is portable and may be moved from one location to another to provide information and allow interaction throughout the community as well as in the schools. Monetary awards are not available with this grant.
Eligible Program Participants
On- Campus resource officers may apply for the educational program grant with school administrators or principals signing to accept the educational program and signing quarterly report forms.

School Resource Officers, Law Enforcement Agencies, and others will be notified by electronic mail, the Department of Finance and Administration's official website and through Law Enforcement Agency Associations' websites around the state.
