Czech Republic: czech VAT Act

Although the Legislative Council of the Czech government has approved an amendment to the VAT Act that implements European directives related to the new place of supply rules and the amendment has been submitted to the Chamber of Deputies, the first reading of the amendment has not yet been discussed. As a result, the legislative approval process will likely be completed just prior to the planned effective date of the amendment, which continues to be 1 January 2010.
