Tax Management Software Lets You Manage Your Financial Assets
Tax management software don't really take out the sting in terms of poofing away your days of monetary altercations, but they do let you "manage" your financial assets, so that you can make your tax payments on time. We tested:
- TurboTax (For Windows – Mac)
- TaxAct (For Windows / Online)
- H&R Block At Home (For Windows – Mac – Online)
Obligatory disclaimer:
The first thing we did was; we tested the deluxe versions of TaxAct, TurboTax and H&R Block At Home. All three versions were put to test in the online mode and through the desktop interface for Windows and Mac. You can do that do, if you want to. Just prepare a tax report through the W-2 or the I099 forms and the report results will let you know your financial situation.
What you need to know about tax prep software
The tricky part is that users get confused when it comes to the selection of Tax Management software.
Which one?
Most versions of tax management software come in various editions. For instance, we mentioned that our tests included the Deluxe version of TaxAct, TurboTax and H&R Block At Home. Go with a Deluxe edition because it is easy for home users.
Online and desktop:
All three tax management software offer online and desktop usage facility. You can either type the name of one of those software at Google.Com and go for the trial version, or you can download either one of them and start using that specific software through your desktop shortcut.
